Lady Bugs
I love these little beetles! The first pendant I made was a copper lady bug. I never knew that they swarm together like bees. It turns out that their population rose 15-20% this year. The sight is amazing! I had to share. These little cuties swarm together to feast and mate. What a life! Lady bugs eat aphids (plant lice) whom are plentiful right now because of the high moisture. Aphids are destructive to plants so these lady bugs come to the rescue for farmers & gardeners. I'm trying my hand in gardening this year and learn something new everyday.
