Reasons to Love the Fall

Rich warm colors and cool air are looming. Summer is bliss but fall is mysteriously wonderful! I have embraced it and will relish every last drop;)

1. Make use of that fireplace and grab a good book or lover to cozy up next to. Wink wink.

2. The pumpkin patch is too much fun! We drive out to Sauvie's and get the cutest pumpkins, warm java, and tractor rides (the 'lil guy loves that).

3. Chunky sweaters to go with your awesome boots.

4. Break out those accessories neglected in the back of your closet, like your cool hats and scarves. Need to vamp up your collection? Sofia on NE Fremont will not disappoint.

5. MMmmmmmm those warm drinks are just what the doctor ordered. Leaded or unleaded...

Zippers in Your Jewels?

I love this zipper necklace by Silvia's Think.
She also makes bracelets and earrings
and bows.
Check out this
Italian Designer
here.
I love her work.

My Wall

I found this picture of my wall in high school.
The whole flipin' thing was filled with Guess ads!
Can you remember what your room
looked like in high school?

Vandalized Vintage

This cute cup says it all.
By
Trixie Delicious in New Zealand.
Check out their other work. Racy! I love it.

Vintage YedOmi

While in Texas, I looked through all our archives
of jewels and saw this piece. Amethyst & citrine
Valencia Necklace. I need to make her again.

We're happy to be back in Portland &

Thank you Leah for helping us out yesterday!

Sweet Surprise

Yed decided to show up in Texas and surprise us!
Usually I can sense these things (well, I kinda did;))
I give him kudos for almost having me completely fooled.
If I give him too much kudos, he will think he's invincible!
Love you baby!

New Mexico Notes

We just came back from Ruidoso, New Mexico and had a blast. This pretty deer kept spying on us the whole time. It was cute. I bet it sleeps in my parent's cabin when they are gone (with it's lil' guys too). All the apples and wild mint attract these cuties. It's lashes were super long. Kinda like my friend Erin's.

Ok, back on task...

  • Portland like climate this weekend.
  • Liquor at grocery/convenient stores. Real liquor. Seriously.
  • Trees
  • Spying deer
  • Calm fresh air
  • Howling wolves
  • Gorgeous & unusual wood furniture shops

Texas Notes

Notes so far:
It's not too hot here today. Really.
Everything is bigger.
I love the southwest landscapes & colors.
Alot of family!
No Stumptown coffee. It's ok. I brought it with me.
Turquoise!
I've been inspired & sketched out my hair accessories.
Mosquitos.
Sunsets are amazing!
Early mornings and evenings are romantic and inspiring.
Classic cars (I fell in love with a 59' FORD truck).
I keep hearing the word "Oregonian."

Check out that 70's shag rug!
The perfect prop.
It's green too;)
Love it.
