Inspired by Lettuce

This lettuce is so luscious!

Big and beautiful rosette leaves make me swoon.

I'll call her Sally.

She inspired this creamy hair fascinator.

Enjoy your weekend!

Post Salem Art Fair & Festival

Nestled under the trees in Bush's Pasture Park, our jewels shimmered in rare peeks of sunshine.

We were in great company with brilliant artists
from all over the U.S.

Amazing views.

The Salem Art Association awarded us for:
Quality of Work and Creative Presentation!

The last day of the show rained cats and dogs! This Festival in three words: Amazing, friendly, organized. Here are a few of many talented artists we discovered:

Amy Buettner
Kevin Eslinger
J. Brooke Patterson

Thank you for your support!!
We met the loveliest ladies!

Coffee Walk

One of our favorite coffee shops is 15 blocks from our home. The walk is beautiful. I had to run back home and get my camera (and a grimace from Yed). Portland is in full bloom and it's lovely and inspiring!

Enjoy your weekend!

Listening to Van Morrison

Love his music.

In Texas...

The little one swooned over cars, airplanes and

The heat was intense, so much so that the
zucchini was sweating!

My Grandma reminds me of Frida Kahlo.
She can create something beautiful from anything.

The desert landscapes of prickly cactus, tumbleweeds
and cappuccino sand are beautiful.

Happy Belated 4th!

The 'ole bloggy has been neglected lately! I hope your weekend was relaxing and fun. We caught this holiday in the grand state of Texas. So much inspiration- so little time. Time to create!
