Snow Day!
My house looks like this! We made snow
globes last year when it snowed for 3 weeks
in a row. What do you do when it snows so much?
Create I say!
All you need is:
baked it at 230 degrees for 30 min.
Make sure items fit on the jar lid so
when you have them glued and dry(4hrs),
they will fit inside the jar.
Fill jar with water. Not to the rim- just below
(to save room for your creation).
Apply 6000 glue on threads of lid and
close really snug without striping threads.
Let dry half a day then
flip over your winter wonderland!

Crochet Thread Lamps
I had to show you these crochet thread lamps I made
earlier this year. I'm working on filling
this corner with a ton! As usual, Yed
thinks I'm crazy.
Crazy about Crochet
Thread!
Ps. I love this lamp (bottom) I got from Moon Light Lamps
(Rick and Cassie) at the Portland Saturday Market!

Snowmen
A friend pleaded with me to make these snowmen
and I caved. We made these many moons
ago when time was endless and kids were
the farthest thing from our minds.
It was fun! It was hard to pull away from
the jewels during this holiday rush,
but I'm glad we had our polymer clay
session. The amount of sweaters
and hats a snowman can wear is endless!
It's all about the accessories... Baby;)

Christmas Decor
The bug finally hit me really bad!
I mean, bad as in lets glitter everything bad.
My little guys LOVES it.
Yed thinks I'm crazy. What's new?
Check out these balls! I found these branches
while walking in my neighborhood. Add spray paint to
these puppies and throw them on a
table as a centerpiece.
Instant drama.
Plus, you know how I love my balls.

Camera gossip
Canon PowerShot SD1200IS 10 MP
Digital Camera $149
Canon PowerShot G11 Digital Camera $499
I'm saving my pennies for the G11.
This one came highly recommended by my friend
Kim. She knows what she's talking about.
Check her work out here.
Meanwhile I bought the SD1200 and
for the money, it works great.
I actually have crispy blog photos (instead
of crummy phone photos). For
me it's always been a pain to find
a camera that works with my rookie skills.
Thanks Leah for introducing us;)

Decor
I love these Pom Pom decorations I
found on Martha's site. You can make
them or buy them made in all colors.
They have them at Michael's (shhhh
I wont tell if you don't tell). I get all
giddy when it comes to decorating.
It's like jewels for you home.
My little guy loves it too...
Yed will come around;)

Display ideas: Wood
It's my addiction #4.
I love wood!
I came across a company called The Whimsy Tree
and they make these cute building blocks out of branches for kids. These are perfect for my display and the jewelry! I like to play around with display ideas a little... So I was tickled when my wooden blocks came in! Enjoy your weekend:)
