I found this picture on Flickr and it represents my past Sunday at the Portland Saturday Market perfectly. Sunday was the first and only day that I have ever had my boy at the Market. Well, he obviously didn't want to be there and he let EVERYBODY know that. He was crying for no reason, kicking, yelling, pushing, throwing his toys for attention. Even an earring tree hit the ground!! I thought, "What the? They didn't tell me this when I took him home from the hospital. Do I have a receipt to take him back? " I got to give it to the Mommas & Daddy's everywhere that have to deal with meltdowns in public & private. Wow! It's like these little kiddies pull a thread from your sweater and love to watch it unravel. I'm sure there is plenty more where that came from, but I'm doing my best to stop them. If I find a brilliant cure I will be sure to let you know. Can you do the same for me?

Addiction #10: Flowers

I love flowers and I was in heaven when we visited the Tulip Farm today! The colors are so vibrant and beautiful! Inspiration for my next collection. Endless acres of tulips I had to share with you. Thanks Leah for putting this tulip bug in my system;)

Lovely Work Break

It's nice to get away and hang out with friends on a sunny spring Tuesday. I had to get as much work done to fully enjoy this moment. These moments are few and far between. After all, isn't it times like this we all work so hard for? Leah's yard is a lovely backdrop for all these pictures.

Easter Candy

One is calorie free. I love Easter colors- pastels. Very happy & girlie. Enjoy your Easter weekend! I'll be at the Portland Saturday Market tomorrow, but am skipping Sunday to possibly look for Easter eggs.

The Other Woman...

She gets so much attention from my husband. He'll stay up with her for hours! Just staring at her? I don't think I'll ever understand. I don't know her name, but I'll find out soon enough. She's pretty, but there's nothing inside. It's empty. No substance. Does that matter? On top of that she's high maintenance!!! How many more transplants does this woman need?

My brother has one too and her name is Samantha...

Sunny Weather = Gardening

Yed made a raised bed and we planted strawberries, tomatoes, basil, cilantro, onions, mint, tomatillos and lettuce. I had to pick my friend Maggie's brain about this because we're rookies. That woman has a huge garden and raises chickens in the city! I forgot to add that she's brewing her own beer and is making me some killer felted cupcake earrings with Turquoise sprinkles. I sorta got a bit off topic. I can't wait to pick my own mint for mojitos or make pico de gallo from the garden... That reminds me, I need jalapenos fast! We also planted some flowers that Micah liked in our front yard. Pink was his color of choice. Secretly, pink is my favorite color. Not the pale pink. It's the hot pink almost fuchsia color I like;)

Custom Order

We had a special request to set a big medal that was received

after running a long marathon in Italy. It's about the

size of my palm. I've never set something so big and heavy.

If I finished a marathon,

I would wear this everyday and in the shower.

Sunshine came to Portland finally!!! My petals were starting to droop and fall off(If I were a flower). Thank you to all the lovely ladies (and gentlemen) that came out and supported us at the Portland Saturday Market. Thank you Michelle and Susan for coming by both days! Also Karen from New Jersey who visits whenever she's in town. Lindsey, Laura, Elizabeth, Susan, Leslie, Ashley,Lori,Trini, and Linda, we can't thank you enough! You have excellent taste;)
