A Taste of Our Saturday Crazy...

How do you host/entertain 4 kids and grandparents over a birthday weekend? I'm still recovering...Apparently, carving pumpkins, playing plastic darts, playing legos, baking birthday cake, making birthday cards, building forts, visiting the Portland Saturday Market, and making gifts for grandma didn't tire these kids out on Saturday! I could still hear giggling at 11 pm. I'm spent! Did I mention hula hoop wars and a bonfire?
Yed and I.
Grandpa & the Boss.
Heehee. The green guy is well loved- his face is almost erased.

I asked the boys (5, 8 & 10 years old) to lightly
sprinkle grandma's birthday cake...

Really?

Weekend Happenings

We haven't been to the Portland Saturday Market in 2 weeks. Lot's of orders to fill and entertaining too! What do you do when you have a 5, 6, 7 and 8 year old in your home? That was us this past weekend. I pulled out my emergency craft kit fast (among many other things). We got crafty and they loved it! We made miniature plates of food out of polymer clay. These dishes turned out so cute! We have your classics: pineapple & ham pizza, salads of greens, hamburgers & fries, enchiladas, and flowers too (of course). We added magnets on the backs and the kiddos were delighted. Easter crafting at it's finest;)

The Free Bar (on NE Fremont) gave us an award;) Yay!

Terrible Fours

My little guy is going through another phase: Turkey Phase Four.

He has officially perfected the tantrum.

He wins Best Actor in a dramatic series.

Yesterday would've been the day that wins him the Oscar.
