My younger brother and his lovely wife Jen are finally at the hospital after passing their due date by a week. I feel for her right now and hope everything is smooth & painless. Is that even possible? As my little boy would say, "That's ridiculous!".

I can't wait to meet her!

As of now she's still comfortable in her momma's belly...

UPDATE: Thursday, July 2,2009- 2:03 a.m. still in labor!!!

Cry Baby

I found this picture on Flickr and it represents my past Sunday at the Portland Saturday Market perfectly. Sunday was the first and only day that I have ever had my boy at the Market. Well, he obviously didn't want to be there and he let EVERYBODY know that. He was crying for no reason, kicking, yelling, pushing, throwing his toys for attention. Even an earring tree hit the ground!! I thought, "What the? They didn't tell me this when I took him home from the hospital. Do I have a receipt to take him back? " I got to give it to the Mommas & Daddy's everywhere that have to deal with meltdowns in public & private. Wow! It's like these little kiddies pull a thread from your sweater and love to watch it unravel. I'm sure there is plenty more where that came from, but I'm doing my best to stop them. If I find a brilliant cure I will be sure to let you know. Can you do the same for me?

Dream of Twins

I had a crazy Dream last night that I was 5 months pregnant with twins! Scary! I think its because my brother & his lovely wife learned that they are expecting a girl. Also, my dear friends' Erin & Byron are having a baby boy any day now. It could also be the small pressure of having another baby from friends & family. By the way they are crazy and I'll have to knock on wood now.
Well in all this baby fever, I came across this awesome
Bassinet by Bloom.
I could have used this 4 years ago.
