My Weakness...Turquoise.

Turquoise: a bule/green stone, sometimes with yellow. May have gray to black matrix. The gemstone of inner peace. It dissipates depression, stimulates creativity, and communication. Turquoise strengthens friendships and romantic relationships.

Pumpkin Pancakes

• 1 1/4 cups flour
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk
• 6 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned)
• 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 egg
  Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, spices and salt in a bowl.  In a separate bowl whisk together milk, pumpkin, melted butter, and egg.  Fold mixture into dry ingredients.  Cook pancakes about 2 minutes per side. Serve.  Makes about six 6-inch pancakes.

A friend of mine let me use her lovely Martha Stewart glitter and I was instantly addicted! All it took was one try! That stuff is dangerous! My little guy saw me sprinkling as he played with his Legos. He then dropped the Lego tower and ran over with a squeal.

We made silly cards.

Addiction #12: Bamboo

I love Bamboo!!! I can't get enough. I want to make an outdoor hut out of bamboo lined with a picket bamboo fence and decorate it with bamboo while wearing bamboo on it's bamboo floor.

I love the sound of the name too. Bamboo! It all started in college when I made 2 bamboo tables. Then it manifested into a bamboo self portrait study. Seriously.

I love flowers and I was in heaven when we visited the Tulip Farm today! The colors are so vibrant and beautiful! Inspiration for my next collection. Endless acres of tulips I had to share with you. Thanks Leah for putting this tulip bug in my system;)
