DIY: Ornaments

I'm part of an ornament swap with a group of ladies and had this ornament idea cooking in my mind. I was inspired by the ornaments created in Gifted Magazine. Each ornament scene will be sealed in a tiny spice tin. I need to add the silk ribbons to the tops. I get giddy creating little scenes. There is not enough time in the world! Oooooh, I want to make a Frida ornament too!

Yed's Birthday Adventure

On a whim, we headed to Mt. Hood with some friends and had a great time. The weather was warmer than usual so snow was scarce. Our little log cabin was so quaint (named Hansel). When the snow comes down soon- we're headed back!

This float is amazing! I'm not into root beer, but if it's Framboise Lambic (Lambic beer blended with raspberries)-I'm in! We added Framboise to vanilla ice cream and this combination makes me swoon! I was introduced to this at Pix Patisserie and can't believe it never occurred to me to try this. Yum.
